Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long International Harbor – Bai Tu Long Bay – Thien Canh Son Cave
08:30 – 09:00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter/Halong Bay.
11:20 – 11:50: Arrive at the Waiting Lounge (Indochina Junk office). Short break before transferring to the cruise.
12:00 – 12:15: Transfer to the harbor by electric car.
12:30 – 13:15: Welcome drink and safety briefing on board as the cruise begins.
13:30 – 15:00: Lunch while cruising through the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay. Admire fascinating limestone formations.
15:15 – 15:40: Explore the hidden Thien Canh Son Cave.
15:45 – 18:00: Relax on a white sandy beach at Hon Co Island or enjoy kayaking.
18:00 – 19:00: Refresh on board before dinner.
19:00 – 20:00: Special dinner on board.
20:00 – 21:00: Relax, enjoy the fresh air, and overnight on the cruise.
Day 2: Vung Vieng Fishing Village – Yên Đức Village Retreat
07:30 – 08:00: Begin the day with a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck, followed by breakfast.
08:30 – 09:30: Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by rustic rowboat. Meet locals, see the floating school and fish farms.
10:00: Check out of the cabin as the cruise heads back.
10:30: Enjoy a buffet brunch while cruising towards the harbor.
11:30 – 12:30: Disembark. Transfer to Yên Đức village in Đông Triều.
13:00: Enjoy a water puppet show by local artists – an exclusive cultural highlight.
14:00: Check in at Viet House, relax, and enjoy the fresh air.
15:30: Visit the cultural house of the village and an ancient family home to gain insights into village life and traditions.
16:00: Join farming activities such as fishing and gardening, and interact with local people.
19:00: Special Vietnamese dinner featuring the fruits of your day’s labor.
20:30: Participate in making traditional floating rice cakes (Bánh Trôi) with our staff.
21:30: Overnight in Viet House.
Day 3: Local Market – Handicrafts – Hanoi / Halong Bay (B, L)
06:30: Start the day with a Tai Chi session. Enjoy a nice breakfast, then take a stroll around the village in the fresh air.
09:30: Visit a local market and a villager’s home to learn how to make brushes and fans from areca palm leaves.
11:00: Return to Viet House, check out. Lunch and relax.
13:30: Farewell to Yên Đức villagers.
16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Trip ends.
